Dr. Greg Ramboer

I am Dr. Greg Ramboer and I opened Lifepointe Chiropractic and Wellness Center in July of 2001. Our mission at Lifepointe, in a nutshell, is to teach our community that all health comes from within and that you already have everything it takes to be truly healthy, happy and well. This inner health potential lacks its full expression when it’s interfered with - that’s where we fit into the picture. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, our role is to determine whether or not you have this interference, and if so, to help you reduce it for life.

I am originally from Ridgetown, Ontario, Canada. I attended the University of Windsor earning a Bachelor of Human Kinetics with an Honors degree in Applied Kinesiology. I then graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2000.
At Lifepointe, we are incredibly passionate about Chiropractic and life. We love what we do, and we love to teach and share what we’ve learned with others. Our team is truly devoted to bringing the absolute highest level of excellence to our patients. Our mission is to lead you to a more rewarding, exceptional health-filled future!

Lifepointe Chiropractic and Wellness Center is the practice of our dreams... it’s caring for our patients for life. Our emphasis is placed on the people we take care of, not just their symptoms. Our practice is family based in which we adjust people of all ages - from newborns just a few minutes old to the very wise and experienced members of our community!

We are members of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association, the ICA’s Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, and the Clarkston Chamber of Commerce. We tend to keep ourselves rather busy, but that’s how we strive to make the greatest impact on our community! We look forward to meeting you and appreciate the opportunity to help you change your life for the better!
You are making the right decision!
Yours in Health,Dr. Greg Ramboer

I am a licensed massage therapist, having graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield Michigan in 2022. Prior to my career in massage, I dedicated eight years to the culinary field as a head chef. I specialize in therapeutic massage techniques and hold certifications in various modalities. I particularly enjoy focusing on the neck and feet during my sessions, as I find these areas to be essential for overall relaxation and well-being. My hobbies include kayaking, reading and relaxing with my cat. My passion for healing and relaxation drives my commitment to providing exceptional care to my clients.

About Chiropractic Care

Chiropractors are highly specialized in analyzing joint mobility and making corrections to subluxations (misalignments) in the spine.

To do this, we use gentle adjusting techniques that restore proper joint function and, more importantly, nervous system communication.

Many people think we are “back pain” doctors. But in reality, we focus more on nervous system function––the nervous system just happens to be housed inside the spine! Your nervous system is comprised of your brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves that branch off the spinal cord and lead to every cell, tissue, and organ of your body. Through this network of nerves, your brain is able to constantly coordinate the entire body simultaneously. It’s our job to ensure there is no interference and that the messages traveling up and down the spine can do so without disruption. This gives your body the best chance at functioning optimally and expressing your greatest health potential.

While many people come into our office because they are having an issue that is limiting their ability to live the life they desire, it’s important to note that chiropractic is not a treatment for any specific disease. Our goal is to get to the root cause of your symptoms. By addressing the root causes, the symptoms will begin to go away on their own.

Achieving true spinal correction takes repetition, time, and energy. Your current state of health is an accumulation of many years and therefore takes time to fully correct. We believe it is important that our patients have an active role in supporting their care at home. We will make specific recommendations to aid in the most efficient and effective improvements possible.

While corrective type adjustments are powerful, we believe that maintenance and preventive adjustments are just as important, if not more. A wellness program of adjustments has been consistently correlated with a decrease in injury rates, a decrease in pain, normalized blood pressure, increased energy levels, better immune function, and better quality of sleep. People in all stages of life use chiropractic to promote optimal health and prevent the development of future problems.

Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on the health of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. It is a drug-free approach that looks to establish and maintain proper posture and biomechanics, as well as alleviate the manifestation of stress on the body. Chiropractic is based on the scientific knowledge that the human body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism that is always striving to heal, as long as it has the right raw materials available and has no interference.
