Ingredients
Meatballs:● 1 lb - Grass Fed Ground Beef● 1 lb - Ground Chicken● 2 tsp - Sea Salt● 2 tsp - Oregano● ½ tsp - Chipotle Powder● Cilantro for Garnish
Sauce:● 1 - Small Yellow Onion, Chopped● 3 - Garlic Cloves, Minced● 2 cups - Tomato Sauce● 1 cup - Organic Beef Broth● ¼ tsp - Chipotle Powder● 2 Tbsp - Raw Honey (Available at Lifepointe Chiropractic and Wellness Center)● 1 tsp - Oregano● Sea Salt and Pepper to Taste
1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, thoroughly mix together all of the meatball ingredients with your hands and set aside.
2. Put the onion, garlic, tomato sauce, and beef broth into the slow cooker and mix well. Add the honey and spices and whisk together.
3. Form the meat mixture into balls, golf ball sized. Gently drop each meatball into the sauce in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hrs. Serve garnished with cilantro.
